WESTONBIRT

Each year Westonbirt Arboretum organises and hosts The Festival of Wood to be known in future as "EXHIBITREE" with demonstrations and displays by a vast number of artists and craftsmen and women using timber as their chosen medium.

The club takes a large space which this  year will be in our own marquee, to promote itself, the AWGB and woodturning in general.

A small, dedicated band spends a considerable amount of time organising the event, which takes place at the end of August.

The event  took place August 24TH  -  27TH 2007  .

If you have not previously been to the Arboretum it is well worth a visit to see the many facets of working with wood.
